(12) Creating an account with a password on your computer for YWRN is the first line of defense. If you do not create this new account you will not be part of YWRN. Someone from the team will call you when you least expect for a video conference to take a look at your set up. If you skip this step your show will be cancelled immediately!
(13) The accompanying downloads will go in this new account for YWRN.
(14) Your dashboard (desktop). On the right corner keep 2 to 4 folders (shortcuts). Open a website browser and go to yuwise.com/radio to monitor what the audience is listening to. (19.a) You must have a stake in it. Success will be determined based on the growth of your hosting skills, how much you have invested in building the program, and how well you have included or incorporated your community in your show. Some people work harder than others! Our desire is to produce and promote local shows for global audiences! How well are you exploring your local culture? Are you playing local music and interviewing people in your community? We have provided the platform and what you need to be successful. You are responsible for your success.
(19.b) Your participation in YUWISELINK and YWRN Blog.
You are expected to embed videos on a weekly basis, particularly in preparation for your upcoming show. The more that you learn about Yuwiselink, you will realize how useful it can be. And can make your show better. Additionally, you are encouraged to start a discussion on the Discussion Page and a chat room on the Chat Room page for use at your convenience. These tools will help you prepare and become a better host. There is a page set up to teach you about YUWISELINK. When shouting out (big ups) to the audience maintain global positioning, (yuwise universe) big up Africa for example, the entire Caribbean and the United States, for example, and then narrow it down locally. The reason is YWRN is global and all programs are recorded, so include the entire planet; be creative with it.
(20) Financial arrangements will be considered after twelve (12) months of success. Either you pay us for the time slot, air time, or we pay you. Every show will be evaluated frequently particularly in the first 12 months. In the past we have invested in people, purchased equipment, assisted with bills including lights and internet. We do not do this anymore. No money will move from the U.S to your location. Every location, store, studio, broadcast center will have its own independent budget. Advertisers and sponsors will join us based on what we represent and how we can assist them, thereby creating a relationship. How do we attract and sustain advertisers and sponsors? Does the host understand this? Is the host thinking about his or her program only, and not anything else? You get money legally, through hard work, maintaining good communication and building positive relationships. YWRN is only part of Yuwise. There is no limit to where we go. If this arrangement does not suit you then obviously things will not work out! If you agree to this arrangement then push forward with it. The successful host then will have no problem being paid for his/her program, because he/her is putting in the work. This includes knowing the organizations in his/her community, arranging interviews, expanding your audience, and being prepared! Ultimately a segment of the population will want to advertise on the program. We hope that after this lengthy explanation you have gotten it. And we ask that you think hard about this opportunity and decide for yourself to either pursue or withdraw! There is no need to waste time or go round and round this subject. Please do not approach management to explain this or that! We are building this organization one nail at a time. Yuwise is not an inheritance, it's about hard work, and grew out of the ever widening gaps in our global community!
(21) Only a successful program (host, or dj) will begin the second year. It's up to you. Success comes with a Powerful Mindset, Discipline, Sacrifice, and Consistency.
(22) The article "The Debate Over Royalties" can be found at yuwise.com.radio Radio. We support royalties and we are building an organization that reflects that! You need permission from the artist to play his/her music! We will enforce this by requesting your playlist from time to time. We encourage you to play artist from your local community and independent artist. Promote local artist! Artists should email permission to [email protected]
(23) YouTube, Facebook, and other social media. Broadcasters will be given access to social media sites when they become available. When uploading on YouTube, for example, the maximum time allowed is 20 minutes. The reason is we are not producing content for YouTube or any other platform. However, there are times when we would want to use such platforms for longer periods, like if we are broadcasting a live event. A written request for permission is required.
(24) You are encouraged to record your own shows, using software like Audacity. However these recordings must be kept private. Listening to the recording will help you improve your skills as a dj or host. Do not share these recordings on any platform including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, to name a few. The recordings are for your personal use only, to help you improve your skill set!
(25) We are not producing content for the public to access at their convenience. That will make us broke and destroy what we are building. However some content will be rebroadcasted on Channel 1 under the theme RANDOM REPLAYS. There are playlists at CAREUPP Audio Visual Studios and YWRN YouTube channels where some segments of the recorded shows will be available to the public. Average segments are fifteen (15) minutes. Note, all live programs are recorded on YWRN!
(26) How to end your program. Terms to cancel. Two (2) weeks notice within the first 3 (three) months. One (1) month notice after three (3) months. Two (2) months notice after six (6) months. Four (4) months notice after one (1) year. After 18 months of success, long term contracts will considered.
Email management: [email protected]

27.2 End a program. We reserve the right to end a program at any time.
27.3 Interviews. All programs require interviews. Interviews are the life blood of the shows and the formula that we promote. Interviews fuel everything! Interviews are more than 50% of your success rate. Practicing and mastering the skill begins immediately. At week 3 you will inform the office of your first interview allowing a minimum of 7 days in advance. That will give the marketing department time to promote the interview. We will work with you to improve your interviewing skills. When interviewing by telephone, take the call or make the call off air, not while you are talking to the audience during the broadcast; (a) Place the caller on hold (b) The public do not need to hear the phone ringing (c) Introduce the caller professionally, then use the Bluetooth speaker to allow the guest to transmit over the mic (d) Toward the end of the interview give the guest time to let the audience know how he/she can be contacted (e) End the interview professionally, respectfully and with courtesy. Always thank the guest for taking the time off to talk to us at YWRN and that we appreciate his/her time! If these steps are not followed and developed then your program will end immediately!
27.4 Agenda. Broadcasters should realize and appreciate the work and dedication that it takes to build such a complex organization as YW. If his/her agenda opposes then the relationship will fail.
27.5 Section (F) YWRN Guide. Guide, Notes and other Broadcast Software. Please read.
27.6 YWRN Blog. Move all communication to your Blog. Before, during, and after the show. Additionally, at Yuwiselink, which is a separate website from yuwise.com you can have a Chat Room and a Discussion. There are features within that Discussion Editor that functions similar to a website. You can add links to visit websites and even your YWRN Blog. Learning to embed a video is a great skill. You can add videos you wish to share with your audience. You can also share your Discussion on social media including Facebook.
27.7 System. If you are not willing to take advantage of our formula and system for success, then the relationship will fail.
27.8 Radio can be defined as the “transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves of radio frequency, especially those carrying sound messages.” It is the responsibility of the host to make this experience interesting and worthwhile to the listener.
27.9 Facilitator. The host should see himself/herself as a facilitator and continuously seek to engage the audience.
27.10 Audience. The show is not about the host but about the audience experience. A tapestry of nostalgia and hopes for the future. The journey is best experienced through the art of interviewing, public input through telephone calls, and additional Blogs and Discussions at the websites.
27.11 YouTube. You can use Careupp Audio Visual Studios to make short videos, for more public interaction. You will be able to embed these videos in your Discussion at Yuwiselink.
27.12 Win. Timing, feedback, and building your team. We will assist you to get on your feet. But our goal is to have you flying as soon as possible. Build your own team and do not depend on us to perform such duties. We have given you the platform, formula, and system to win! When you do not apply what we have given you are failing the system. And that is not acceptable!
LOCAL SHOWS FOR GLOBAL AUDIENCES!
(1) Do not share this information with anyone. The information contained here must be kept private and confidential. Do not use Yuwise name, logo, or its subsidiaries names and logos without requesting permission in writing.

Every 60 minutes (1 hour) there are three (3) scheduled programs:
- PROGRAM 1. The first 5 minutes of the hour (Feature/Queue up).
- PROGRAM 2. At 5 minutes after the hour (Beginning with intro/outro mixdown) is Showtime (human/live broadcast). When no human is available the back up computer is the host. A good example of human and computer hosting together is when using Edcast Stand Alone. The computer plays the tracks/music for the host. Training with Edcast Stand Alone is the default training broadcast (process) for the first four (4) weeks on YWRN. One of the many benefits is that it allows the trainee to master timing and to get his/her interviewing skills in motion. If timing is not mastered everything else becomes irrelevant. By looking at the website(radio players) a visual is provided. One can see the files, tracks being played and what is coming next. During your training period take a look at the players, and study what is going on. In fact you may see this happening on both channels!
- PROGRAM 3. At the 50th minute (Station IDs, Ads, Motivation-SAM)
Schedule program 1. A host is qeueing up and counting down the time. Schedule 1 must be completed before connecting and going live!
Schedule program 2. The host must begin his/her program in the first 10 seconds of schedule 2. If this is not possible the show must be cancelled! The computer will be the host until the 50th minute.
Schedule Program 3. Closing a show: At 45 minutes after the hour give all relevant information to the audience, then let the music run if desired and cut/end in the first 10 seconds of schedule 3, the 50th minute.
Timing is everything in media:
- The system and formulas are a combination of computer programming and human (live broadcasting).
- The schedules operate within set parameters.
- It is the human who has to modify his/her behaviour.
- If a scheduled program is moved forward due to the host starting late and then gets cutoff when the next schedule begins it is due to the behaviour of the human who began his/her show late. If the audience did not hear an audio advertisement for example, that was paid for by another human/organization then the sponsor feels cheated and the consequences are endless, YWRN reputation will quickly begin to go in the negative.
(5) At the 50th minute station ids, commercials, motivation, are scheduled.
(6) Time Zone: EST, Eastern Standard Time, New York time is the standard time.
(7) Training period; your first 4 weeks live on air using Edcast Standalone.
(8) Winamp and its accompanying broadcaster, Edcast, will be used from week five (5).

ADVERTISING, MARKETING, AND CREATING SOMETHING NEW; MAKING MONEY WHILE DOING OUR PART TO HELP THE COMMUNITY/CULTURE EVOLVE! OUR BALANCE COMES WITH BUILDING AND EXPANDING OUR OWN NETWORK.
(1) There are accompanying videos to these section. The individuals highlighted in the videos are current and worth listening to.
(2) Yuwise is building something new. (3) As of 2024 radio advertising will govern much of what you do during your show. (4) The basic cost for advertising in 2024 is on the marketing page. Marketing (5) There are three (3) plans; Red Plan, Green Plan, and Yellow Plan. (6) Time in seconds; 10, 20, and 30. (7) Period; 90 days. (8) Weekdays; Red (2 days), Green (4 days) Yellow (5 days). (9) Times per day: morning, afternoon, and night. (10) Anything outside the basic plan has a cost. (11) Advertising is REAL! (12) Advertising with YWRN can help the community evolve. (13) Advertising most be taken seriously. (14) Hosts and djs will not advertise for free. (15) A friend or family will ask you for a favor: No favors! However you may interview the individual on air and talk about the event. (16) Host may do generic scripts, voice overs, testimonial, and endorsements. The timing is based on the basic structure in seconds. The cost are different from the basic plans. (17) A client may want a host to record an advertisement. That advertisement will be for YWRN only. This will be based on the same basic timing in seconds. There is a cost for recording and producing advertisements, 50% goes to the host who recorded the advertisement and 50% goes to YWRN. (18) Advertising dollars is the oil and gas of the network. Traditional networks keep it all for themselves. However, we are building something new. We want the community to evolve. (19) As a host or dj your role is vital to that process. (20) Focus on your art, keep improving your skills and YWRN will do the rest! (21) As a side note! In one of the highlighted videos someone stated that YouTube made 6 billion dollars in one of the quarters (possibly in 2023). That year the company paid/distributed in total, 100 million dollars as payment to its content producers. How much money did YouTube made for that entire year? Where is that money coming from? What is the source? (22) In 2023 there were two individuals who got an opportunity to broadcast on YWRN. Both were pushing to broadcast on Facebook Live simultaneously. That's against our policy. We are not producing content for other platforms! Further, once the show has ended the advertisement of any kind quickly fades away and becomes obsolete! The individuals were so emotionally immature (needing to get responses from "their followers" consistently prioritized their feelings over YWRN. At the same time continued to ignore the many avenues available to inform followers on social media about an upcoming broadcast on YWRN. (23) When looking at the videos highlighted here or throughout our websites you will come to realize that there are no advertising. That the advertising in only on YouTube platform. (24) How do we attract advertisers? Well if advertising can make or break companies, what are we doing to the entrepreneurs in our community? How are these companies being promoted? That's where the balance is for YWRN! |
